PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensively a block enabling a joint of a block fence to be positively used in aesthetic feeling of the block fence and provide inexpensively a block having sufficient strength. SOLUTION: A decorative block with structure similar to that of a concrete block for construction is used, and a projection is formed on one side of facing sides of the block and a recess part is formed on the other side thereof. The recess dimension of the recess part is made smaller than the projection dimension of the projection. Similarly, the projection and recess part are formed on the other two facing sides. These blocks are arranged in the horizontal direction and superposed in the vertical direction and the joint having the same hue and pattern as those of a decorative block spot is formed in the horizontal and vertical directions. A color and the pattern different from a ground color and a ground pattern of the block are used in parts of the block constituting the joint, so that aesthetic effect of the joint is further utilized.
