PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stamping unit for a seal which is convenient for carrying and moreover easy to use. SOLUTION: A cylindrical ink impregnated part 1 which is impregnated with a specific ink being a color material for a thumbprint and is constituted of a material having liquid absorbing properties is fixed on the peripheral surface of a rotator 2 formed in the shape of a column. In the state that the rotator 2 is ready to rotate, the lower part of the rotator 2 is supported at the upper end part of a hollow columnar barrel part 5. The ink impregnated part 1 is covered with a slender round-can-shaped cap 3 of which the inner peripheral surface of the lower part is screwed on the outer peripheral surface of the upper part of the barrel part 5 and which has a clip 4 for hitching attached to the outer peripheral surface.
