PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily ensure correct and simple relative positioning between support devices and imaging systems. SOLUTION: An adjustment apparatus and an adjustment method for a tomograph (1) perform relative positioning between the support devices (5, 6) of an object and imaging systems (3, 4). Reference means (15) set on the support devices (5, 6) and a reference laser (2) for projecting a laser beam on the reference means (15) are provided for adjustment. The reference laser (2) is directly installed on a rotary frame (12) so as to avoid tolerance in positioning the reference laser (2) and the imaging systems (3, 4). By adjusting the reference laser (2) to two different rotation angle positions (7, 8) spacing an angular interval of nearly at least 180°from each other and directly attaching the reference laser (2) to the rotary frame (12) of the tomograph (1), simple correction is ensured between a laser beam and imaging planes of the imaging systems (3, 4).
