PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid agent for dialysis excellent in homogeneities of contents, solubility and further high productivity, containing electrolyte components, a pH adjuster and/or glucose in a dialysis preparation used for blood dialysis therapy of patients with renal failure. SOLUTION: A process for production of the solid agent for dialysis composed of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and sodium acetate divides the components in two portions except for calcium chloride and magnesium chloride, and adding an aqueous solution of calcium chloride in one portion as a binder solution, followed by mixing, granulating and drying to give granular product (1), adding an aqueous solution of magnesium chloride to the other components as a binder solution, followed by mixing, granulating and drying to give granular product (2), and then mixing the granular products (1) and (2).
