PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment device with a temperature control circuit of a heating element, capable of preventing variation of the temperature coefficient of a variable resistor for temperature control, retaining a heating block in a stable temperature state, and effectively treating hair without damaging cuticles. SOLUTION: The hair treatment device has a pair of clasping arms 1 and 2. A blower fan 41, a motor 40, an ion generating device 10, the flat heating block 5 for heating hair, and a temperature control circuit 11 for adjusting the temperature of heating of the heating element 36 of the heating block 5 are stored in a casing 8 of the first clasping arm 1. The variable resistor 56 constituting the temperature control circuit 11 is disposed adjacent to the lee of the blower fan 41 in an air passage R between an air outlet 19 opening in the casing 8 and the blower fan 41. As the variable resistor 56 is exposed to the air current fed from the blower fan 41, the temperature state of the resistor is uniformed so that variation of the temperature coefficient of the variable resistor 56 is prevented.
