The device has a movable guide rail and a stationary guide rail, in which the moveable guide rail is held. The moveable guide rail has a barrier, as well as a spring element in form of a tie-clip. In the guide rail a catch is provided. The barrier is in contact with the spring element and arranged, in such a manner that when a drawer is pulled out up to the proximity of a barrier point, the barrier is pressed down by the catch and pressed against the spring element. The catch intervenes with the drawer with its front edge and a notch of the barrier is arranged along the centre. Two guides are provided on the barrier and a triangular guide slot (31) is provided with a chamfer in the guide rail and a guide pin. A diagonally aligned slotted hole is arranged in the barrier. The spring element (2) has a first arm (22) pushes away on the barrier.
