<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of performing sticking without irradiating a liquid crystal with light even if picture frames different in size are formed on a panel, relating to the sticking apparatus for display panel which is provided with a light-irradiation part with a built-in linear light source and a light-irradiation part moving mechanism for moving the light-irradiation part, and irradiates a sealant between light transmissive substrates with the light having a linear irradiation area from the light-irradiation part to perform sticking. <P>SOLUTION: On a light exit part of the light-irradiation part, a light shielding mask is prepared in which two or more apertures different in length along the longitudinal direction of the linear light source are formed. The length of each aperture is so set as to meet the length of the light-irradiated sealant of each picture frame formed on the panel to be stuck, and the aperture is changed over by slidingly moving the light shielding mask in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the linear light source, and the length of the light-irradiation area of the light emitted from the light-irradiation part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
