<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control so as to manage a status of a job which does not need immediate processing in a workflow and to inform a person in charge of it in appropriate timing so that it can be processed. <P>SOLUTION: A workflow control program 133 decides whether or not a work step of work items set to a job information table 132 is a work step requiring a notification decision by referring to a workflow definition information table 131. For the work step requiring the notification decision, the status of the work step in the work information table 132 is set to either notification possible or notification impossible on the basis of an execution result of a notification decision program 134.
