<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission control device for giving no sense of incongruity to a driver even when a sensor to be used for neutral control is malfunctioned. <P>SOLUTION: An ECT_ECU executes a program which includes a step of determining that a pedal force switch is in ON-failure when a brake lamp switch is not in an ON state but the pedal force switch is in an ON state to set a flag F (ON), a step (S210) of determining whether the brake lamp switch to be turned from the ON state into an OFF state is in the OFF-state or not on the side where a brake pedal is reset beyond the pedal force switch when the flag F (ON) is set (YES in S200), and a step (S220) for suddenly increasing the engagement instructing pressure of an input clutch in a permissible range when the brake lamp switch is turned from the ON state into the OFF state (YES in S210). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
