GRANULAR COMPOSITION OF ANION EXCHANGE RESIN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular composition of an anion exchange resin such as colestimide and cholestyramine, obtained by a water-based granulation without using an organic solvent the use of which is limited or considered to be undesirable, and having particle diameters and particle shapes enabling uniform coating; and to provide a method for producing the composition.

SOLUTION: The granular composition of the anion exchange resin contains an anion exchange resin, and a polyhydric alcohol and/or a nonionic surfactant. The method for producing the granular composition of the anion exchange resin involves subjecting the anion exchange resin, and the polyhydric alcohol and/or the nonionic surfactant to the water-based granulation.
