PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent outputs from transmitters D1 and D2 from being turned off unnecessarily in a transmission apparatus that transmits signals via an antenna 1 using the transmitters D1 and D2. SOLUTION: A plurality of transmitters D1 and D2 and an antenna 1 are provided. A transmitter switching means 2 switches the plurality of transmitters D1 and D2 so as to connect any one of them with the antenna 1. A transmitter output control means 12 stops outputs from the plurality of transmitters D1 and D2 in the state of regarding that both the plurality of transmitters D1 and D2 are disconnected from the antenna 1, based on a signal which is synchronized without timing deviation with switching due to the transmitter switching means 2.
