PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for measuring particle size distribution of powder and grain that analyze the particle size distribution of the powder and grain by image processing of a picked up image and have high measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: Two-dimensional Fourier transform is applied to the picked up image to investigate the spectral distribution, the raw material state is determined based on the ratio of average power between the low frequency band and high frequency band, the target image is classified based on the raw material state, and an image processing parameter is set for every classified image data.
