PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle capable of being easily mounted to a belt after the belt is turned over without enfolding the buckle to form a cylindrical space by stitching, while keeping the space large enough to allow the insertion of a central stem, by solving the problem of a conventional three-line shaped buckle mainly used to adjust the length of a belt that; according to an often employed example of use, the tip end of a belt is wound around the central stem of the buckle and thereafter turned over to be subjected to stitch work with the buckle attached thereto, so that the buckle obstructs the stitch work. SOLUTION: In the three-line shaped buckle, a central stem is set to a position where it can turn at one end and stop at the opposite side of an annular member. Further, after the buckle is mounted to the belt, spacing between the central stem and left and right annular members is extremely narrowed in order to make the central stem hardly movable and increase friction between the belt and the buckle.
