PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kettle capable of surely obtaining a desired discharge amount. SOLUTION: This electric kettle is constituted so that a discharge amount setting means 9 is provided separately from a discharge operation means such as a knob or a button, and the setting of a discharge amount is operated not by the discharge operation means but by the discharge amount setting means 9. Thus, an amount set in the discharge amount setting means 9 is discharged by a discharge means 5, the setting of the discharge amount does not depend on an operation by fine force adjustment, and the desired discharge amount is surely obtained.
