A bioinformation measuring optical element and bioinformation measuring instrument for measuring optical parameters concerning bioinformation. The bioinformation measuring element is for measuring bioinformation by applying light to an organism and using light absorbed/reflected by a tissue of the organism. The element comprises at least two different light transmitting bodies for applying/receiving light to/from the organism. The light transmitting bodies each has an organism contact portion brought into contact with the organism.
