<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure resistant oil seal usable even under high pressure conditions exceeding a specified level and also enabling an increase in the durability of an oil seal lip without increasing the number of parts in the pressure resistant oil seal used under high pressure conditions such as in fuel pumps. <P>SOLUTION: The seal lip 57 having a sliding surface 57A formed of a resin in a wedge shape which slides on the radial end face (22 or 71A) of one member 2 or a sleeve 7 is formed in a fixed sealing part 52.
