<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional simulator and an image composition method capable of continuously changing viewpoint information when forming a view image in a virtual three-dimensional space. <P>SOLUTION: An operation part 12 is provided with a first input part 4 for moving a mobile object and a second input part 6 for changing a viewpoint position and sight line direction. On the basis of operation information from the first input part 4, the position and the direction of the mobile object inside the virtual three-dimensional space are found. On the basis of operation information from the second input part 6, the viewpoint information for designating the viewpoint position and the sight line direction is found. When the mobile object is in the found position and direction, the view image observed in the viewpoint position and sight line direction designated by the viewpoint information is synthesized. In addition, on the basis of the operation information from the second input part 6, the sight line direction is changed to an arbitrary direction independently of the advancing direction of the mobile object and the viewpoint position is brought close to the direction of a display object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
