<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a donor substrate capable of precisely forming a fine transfer layer pattern without precisely controlling a width of a laser beam and an organic electroluminescent display appartus using the donor substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The donor substrate D1 provides with a base substrate 10, a transfer layer 19 arranged on the base substrate 10 and a selective exothermic structure S1 having a heat generating region which generates heat by photo-thermal conversion and a non heat generating region adjoining the heat generating region laid between the base substrate 10 and the transfer layer 19. According to this constitution, a part of laser beam irradiated to the base substrate 10 is absorbed by the heat generating region of the selective exothermic structure S1 and is converted to heat, therefore a heat generation can be selectively produced. Then because an adhesiveness in the transfer layer 19 corresponding to the exothermic region is lowered by the heat and the transfer layer 19 is selectively transferred, a fine transfer layer pattern can be finely formed even though a width of the laser beam is not precisely controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
