<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a round bottle container suitable for selling by an automatic vending machine, the bottle being designed such that a sufficient area for a half label is assured by providing a half label area that has the same size as that of a rectangular bottle container without remarkably degrading decompression absorption performance. <P>SOLUTION: A barrel 3 is divided into a substantially cylindrical section 32 and a shoulder 31 narrowing from the upper end of the cylindrical section 32 so as to be continuous with a mouth 2. Decompression absorption panels 6a and 6b are formed on the cylindrical section 32 (middle barrel 321 and lower barrel 322) except the shoulder 31. A large area for the panels is taken to improve decomposition absorption performance. A label is attached to the middle barrel 321 or lower barrel 322 taking a large area on the side faces of the container.
