PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical range finding sensor having a wide range viewing angle and capable of detecting the direction and distance to the measurement object existing in the wide viewing angle. SOLUTION: The optical range finding sensor comprises: a substrate 10; a plurality of a light emission device 1 mounted on the substrate 10; a plurality of lenses 2 of light emission side corresponding to each light emission device 1; one light receiving element 3 for position detection mounted on the substrate 10; one toroidal lens 4 of light reception side arranged corresponding to the light receiving element 3; and a control part 6 mounted on the substrate 10.
