PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ice-making device for a refrigerator-freezer capable of solving problems that (1) water is forcibly discharged when the water in a water storage tank of the automatic ice-making device is accumulated, and (2) a water replacement mode is set and the replacement of water is displayed (urged) when the ice-making is not implemented for more than three days even though the water storage tank is not empty, and reducing the probability of ice-making by the accumulated water. SOLUTION: This automatic ice-making device for the refrigerator-freezer comprises a detachable water storage tank 3, a tank detecting means 4 for detecting the attachment of the water storage tank 3, and an accumulation detecting means 14 for setting a water accumulation mode by detecting a water accumulation state in the water storage tank 3 when it counts a prescribed time period from the attachment of the water storage tank 3, continuing the water accumulation mode when a time period from the detachment of the water storage tank 3 to its reattachment is short, and resetting the water accumulating mode when the time period is long.
