PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator for ensuring stability of an electric connection condition of connection wiring and improving productivity. SOLUTION: This thermoelectric generator 10 has a gas introduction pipe 36 in which exhaust gas is introduced in a central part, collects heat by a heat collection member 50 arranged around it, and heats a contact face 60A on a high temperature side of a thermoelectric conversion element part 60. A water cooling vessel 54 is arranged on a face on the opposite side to the thermoelectric conversion element part 60 to generate electromotive force due to head of heat of both of them. A lead wire 64 pulled out of the thermoelectric conversion element part 60 is arranged on an outer side of the water cooling vessel 54, is connected with a lead wire 64 of the next thermoelectric conversion element part 60 on its side, and is fixedly held by a band clamp 78.
