PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security device, wherein the need of coping with abnormality detection for a false report is eliminated to reduce useless coping time and costs or the like by reporting information from which the possibility of the false report can be judged to a user to whom abnormality is reported. SOLUTION: The security device 110 is provided with a sensor 111 for detecting abnormality in a monitoring area and is connected with a portable terminal 130 by a network 120. A security state switching part 1161 switches an outing security state wherein abnormality detection information is transmitted to the portable terminal 130 in the case that the sensor 111 detects the abnormality or an outing security cancellation state wherein the abnormality detection information is not transmitted to the portable terminal 130 in the case that the sensor detects the abnormality. An abnormality reporting part 1163 transmits the abnormality detection information to the portable terminal 130 when the outing security state is set in the security state switching part 1161. In the case that the outing security cancellation state is set in the security state switching part 1161, a security state cancellation reporting part 1164 transmits outing security cancellation information.
