PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device which has not existed in the past, has interest and convenient for a user as technology capable of outputting sound at the time of receiving an email or the like. SOLUTION: Whether a prescribed character code or character code string is included in received document information or not is retrieved, and when the prescribed character code or character code string stored in a sound outputting table is not detected, previously determined prescribed sound data is determined as sound data to be outputted as a sound. When the prescribed character code or character code string stored in the sound outputting table is detected, sound data corresponding to the detected prescribed character code or character code string is determined as sound data to be outputted as a sound.
