PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope using laser light where the objective lens can be prevented from being carelessly removed, but is simplified in structure and can surely be removed, when necessary, without disturbing the operation. SOLUTION: Safety devices 10 for the microscope consist of ring-like members, which are fitted on the objective lenses 14 mounted on a microscope revolver 12 and prevent careless removal of the objective lenses 14. The outer periphery is basically made up of a circle of a diameter larger than the center distance between the adjoining objective lenses and the center positions, corresponding to the center distance are arranged to the center distance or smaller so that the outer peripheral forms of the ring-like members interfere with each other, when trying to turn one objective lens 14 in a state with the ring-like members fitted on the objective lenses adjoining each other.
