PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission system which is configured reasonably. SOLUTION: The power transmission system for transmitting power to a driven section 200 comprises a first transparent plate 310 installed to allow the driven section to be driven, a second transparent plate 320 which faces the first transparent plate and is engaged with the driven section, a third transparent plate 330 which faces the first transparent plate across the second transparent plate, and a driving means 600 which drives the second transparent plate with respect to the first transparent plate. The driven section is driven in conjunction with the drive of the second transparent plate. The second transparent plate is surrounded by closing a gap between the first transparent plate and the third transparent plate with a single-side adhesive tape 10 or the like.
