PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game ball paying out mechanism which detects abnormalities occurring in the apparatus of a bonus ball system by comparing bonus ball paying out command with actually paid out bonus balls by a main substrate. SOLUTION: The paying out and detection of a game ball are separated into a hire ball and a bonus ball and are performed by a first paying out apparatus 5, a second paying out apparatus 7, a first paying out sensor 6, and a second paying out sensor 8. When a bonus ball substrate 2 recognizes that given numbers of hire balls and bonus balls are paid out by a hire ball paying out detection signal pa1 and a bonus ball paying out detection signal pa2 from the first paying out sensor 6 and the second paying out sensor 8, it stops the first paying out apparatus 5 and the second paying out apparatus 7 and completes a paying out process.
