PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water purifying device for a raw material storage yard capable of easily handling rain water collected inside an outdoor storage yard and containing suspended particle-like materials of high concentration, and capable of draining the rain water out of the yard when rainfall exceeds the handling ability of rain water draining facilities, in regard to rain water draining facilities of an outdoor raw material storage yard, which is generally provided with rain water draining facilities having an ability lower than the draining ability to be required in the case of estimating a peak value of one-year rain fall. SOLUTION: This waste water purifying device is formed by structuring a sluice 12, which is provided to surround the periphery of a heap 11 of a raw material and which has permeability and a filtering function, in a yard bottom surface between the heap 11 of the raw material stored in open-air in the outdoor yard 10 and a side ditch 13 for collecting rain water fallen in the yard 10.
