Compressor blade for an airplane power plant comprises a blade core (1) made of a fiber composite material and a multipart metallic casing (2) having a cover plate (4) on the intake side and a cover plate (5) on the pressure side which are connected in the region of the guide edge of the blade via a guide edge molding (3) made of solid metal. Preferred Features: The individual components of the casing are made of different metals or metal alloys according to the respective load. Nickel-based materials, austenitic steels and titanium-based materials are used for the cover plates and for the guide edge molding.
