<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a soft polylactic film presenting a satin-like appearance without any mechanical processing. <P>SOLUTION: In the production method, a mixture prepared by compounding 15-50 pts.wt. plasticizer with 100 pts.wt. polylactic acid mixture is used, wherein the polylactic acid mixture is prepared by mixing 50-95 wt.% amorphous or low-crystallinity polylactic acid with a D-form concentration of 7-20% and 5-50 wt.% high-crystallinity polylactic acid with a D-form concentration of≤4%. First, the mixture is melt-kneaded to prepare a compound wherein the high-crystallinity polylactic acid is uniformly dispersed in the amorphous or low-crystallinity polylactic acid. Then, the compound is molded into a film at a processing temperature lower than the melting temperature of the high-crystallinity polylactic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
