PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively redistribute low frequency components in multichannel signals.

SOLUTION: By an LFE addition part 12, LFE signals SLFEare added to front left channel signals SFLand front right channel signals SFR. The front left channel signals SFLto which the LFE signals SLFEare added are outputted to a front left speaker 5, and the front right channel signals SFRto which the LFE signals SLFEare added are outputted to a front right speaker 7. By a sub channel generation part 13, the front left channel signals SFLand the front right channel signals SFRto which the LFE signals SLFEare added, rear left channel signals SRLand rear right channel signals SRRare added and sub woofer signals SSWare generated. By an LPF 25, only the low frequency components of the sub woofer signals SSWare extracted and outputted to a sub woofer 10.
