<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact connector device for cards for preventing a tray from jumping out abruptly. <P>SOLUTION: The connector device 1 for cards comprises a slide member 12 (a mobile unit 8) that can travel to a housing 2 between a connection position for making an electrical connection to a card C in the housing 2 and a discharge position for pushing out the card C to the outside of the housing 2; a locking mechanism for locking the slide member 12 at the connection position; and a lock cancellation mechanism for canceling the locked state of the slide member 12 by the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a locking member 50 for regulating the travel of the slide member 12 to the housing 2 by locking to the slide member 12 at the connection position.
