PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce structure vibration sound and fluid sound at the time of high speed rotation in an optical disk drive apparatus. SOLUTION: In the disk drive apparatus 1, a notch 21 is formed at the interior side end part. This notch is positioned at a position axially symmetrical to a shaft of a spindle motor 5 for a hole 2c for running of an optical head 6, its size is same as the hole for running. The notch suppresses a vibration mode of a disk tray 2 and flow between the disk and the disk tray. Even when the disk is rotated at high speed, noise is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
