PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a drive belt that a rubber composition, including a mineral white filler and a softening agent, is manufactured with good dispersion and without spoiling productivity. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a drive belt is a rubber composition for a belt including the mineral white filler, carbon black, and the softening agent in rubber, and constituted that the mineral white filler is dispersed in raw material rubber in advance, direct contact with the softening agent is stopped, and an aggregate lump is removed.
