PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a fixing means and a connection means for connecting a lock ring receiving outer tube to a joint body in a bell-and-spigot joint having the joint body with a tube insertion part 11, the diameter-reducible lock ring 3 axially movably inserted into the tube insertion part, and the lock ring receiving outer tube 2 covering the lock ring and connected to the joint body and stably maintaining the fixing of a connected tube by fixing the connected tube by the locking action and the wedge effect of the lock ring 3 against a tensile force in the extracting direction and holding the fixed position of the lock ring 3 by the fixing means between the lock ring receiving outer tube 2 and the lock ring 3 against a push-back force. SOLUTION: In this bell-and-spigot joint, the lock ring receiving outer tube is formed of a synthetic resin, and a locking blade 34 crimped into thee tapered inner surface part 21 of the lock ring receiving outer tube by its pressing in a direction reverse to the extraction direction is formed on the tapered outer surface part 31 of the lock ring 3.
