PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coated paper for printing, capable of stabilizing its coating profile early and excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the coated paper is provided by setting 1,000-1,700 Vickers hardness at the surface hardening part 3 of a doctor blade 1, further, installing an R-processing part 4a at the surface-hardening part 3 and also setting the R of the R-processing part 4a as 0.1±0.02 mm.
