PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition having good compatibility, superior in weather resistance and heat resistance, while retaining low birefringence of the thermoplastic resin composition containing a cycloolefin polymer and a vinyl polymer and an optical film. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition and the optical film comprises a cycloolefin polymer (A) and a vinyl polymer (B) having a structural unit derived from p-isopropenyl phenol.
