PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder capable of performing stable feeding control, and to provide an image forming device with the same. SOLUTION: This sheet feeder is provided with a feeding means 4 to be brought in pressure-contact with sheets 2, which are stacked in a sheet stacking member 1, to deliver the sheets 2 to a separating part, and the delivered sheets 2 are separated for feeding by an inclined surface 6a of an inclined member 6 and a nip forming part. This sheet feeder has a function for making a conductive material 34 abut in the escaping direction in relation to the delivery direction of the feeding means 4 with a light load. The sheet feeding member 4 and the sheet stacking member 1 are integrated, and setting direction of the sheet stacking member 1 in relation to the image forming device is vertical to the sheet feeding direction.
