PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block parameter access system with which an IEC application can efficiently access to a plurality of block parameters of an EF device by using a structure of "View Object" being a collective reference function of the block parameter, which is specified by a specification of FF standard. SOLUTION: In the access system, the application generated in the controller following an another standard accesses to the block parameter of the device following a prescribed field bus standard. The controller is provided with a block parameter access means which communicates with the device by using a function of collective reference for collectively referring to a plurality of the block parameters, which collectively refers to the block parameter and individually sets the block parameter, and a block parameter conversion means converting the acquired block parameter into a data form where the application following the another standard can access the acquired block parameter and transferring a setting request from the application to the block parameter access means.
