PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely reproduce predetermined sales amounts of raw material and dilution water. SOLUTION: This cup type vending machine adapted to dilute a raw material with a diluent and sale the resulting mixture as a cup drink comprises a feed part feeding the raw material of the cup drink and the diluent diluting the raw material; a pulse signal generation part generating pulse signals at a frequency according to the feed flow rate in the feed part; a counting part counting the pulse signals generated by the pulse signal generation part; a pulse signal number storage part storing predetermined pulse signal numbers corresponding to the quantities of the raw material and the diluent; and a control part controlling the feed part, the pulse signal generation part and the counting part so as to feed the raw material and the diluent by the predetermined pulse signal numbers stored in the pulse signal number storage part. This vending machine further comprises an input part for inputting pulse signal numbers corresponding to predetermined sales amounts of raw material and diluent in one sales amount of the cup drink so as to be stored in the pulse signal number storage part as the predetermined pulse signal numbers.
