PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of improving cooling efficiency and being easily operated. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe comprises a probe part 1 provided with a vibrator part 11 for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves and a heat receiving part 13 for absorbing heat generated from the vibrator part 11, a cable part 2 for transmitting signals between the vibrator part 11 and an ultrasonic diagnostic device body 20, and a cooling part 32 for cooling the heat receiving part 13. The cable part 2 is provided with a signal line 21 for transmitting the signals, a cooling medium sending pipe 23 for sending a cooling medium from the cooling part 32 to the heat receiving part 13, and a cooling medium discharge pipe 24 for sending the cooling medium for discharging the heat of the heat receiving part 13 to the cooling part 32. A heat insulating material 25 is provided at least on the outer periphery of the cooling medium sending pipe 23, the cooling medium sending pipe 23, the cooling medium discharge pipe 24 and the heat insulating material 25 are inserted and arranged near the center of the cable part, and the signal line 21 is arranged around.
