<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate allowed to have an etching effect having stereoscopic feeling by using spherical glass beads having sizes of 20-40 μm; and a method for forming a pattern on a glass plate. <P>SOLUTION: An effect that the surface of the glass plate seems to be etched by the spherical glass beads is obtained by printing a pattern on the surface of the glass plate by a silk screen printing technique using a mixture of silicone oil and the spherical glass beads so that an etching effect is obtained, and then heating the glass plate, on which the spherical glass beads are vapor deposited, at a temperature of 600-700°C so that the glass beads are fused on the surface of the glass plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
