ENCODED INFORMATION RECORDING AND READING METHOD

The invention relates to information engineering, in particular to information recording and reproducing systems and can be used for long-term information storage systems, for digital audio- and videorecording, computer peripheral storing devices and for the instrument-making industry. Said invention makes it possible to record and read out information on membranous polymer films, improve the information protection against electromagnetic, thermal, electric and radiation influences and to increase information recording density. The inventive method for recording and reading information consists in exposing an information carrier to a heat flow action, thereby modifying the physico-chemical and molecular properties thereof and in reading out a recorded encoded information. The information carrier is exposed to the action of a modulated heat flow, reading is carried out by electrolysing the information carrier and by recognising the areas having different surface density of an applied charge, wherein said surface density depends on the type of modulated signal. The information carrier is electrolysed entirely once prior to reading. Said information is embodied in the form of polymer films which are collected in the form of a stack consisting of N<2 individual single-type thin distinct component elements. The information carrier is embodied in the form of polyimide films.
