<p>25 (57) Abstract An information system, comprising a workstation, a data- base, and connection means for providing access to the database from the workstation. An input record comprises identification of a factor and at least one input value re- lated to the factor. A computing unit computes a new re- sult value on the basis of the current result value of the factor and the value of the factor in the input record. A control unit opens to the user the result values of the fac- tors identified in the input record, and the result values of the factors in superordinate relationship with the factor, and closes from the user the result values of the factors not in the input record. The solution simultaneously en- ables offering points of interest in a plurality of areas of interest, and controlling of the operations so that a source of information is rewarded only in proportion to submitted information.
