Additional cylinders (1, 2) on the rear side of the cubicle can adopt a position in which they extend at right angles to the wall to which they are connected. An extra folding door (5) is provided in the cubicle wall. The lifting system is used for moving the cubicle between a horizontal position in which it can be used as a bath and a vertical position in which it can be used for showering.
