PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transceiver 10 capable of appropriately removing an interference signal that affects generation of an intermediate frequency signal. SOLUTION: A reception signal passes in order through a removal filter 11, a bandpass filter 12 and an IF signal generator 13. An IF signal level detecting means 17 detects a level of an IF signal. An extraction frequency scanning means 18 scans an extraction frequency over a pass frequency band of the bandpass filter while holding the removal filter in an inactive state during an interference signal frequency detection term. An in-band interference signal frequency detecting means 19 detects, as an in-band interference signal frequency, an extraction frequency having a frequency value different from that of a specific reception frequency and having a maximum level of the IF signal as a result of scanning the extraction frequency during the interference signal frequency detection term. During a reception term, a first control signal generating means 20 controls a first control signal, so that a removal frequency of the removal filter 11 becomes the in-band interference signal frequency.
