PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a signal switching device realizing stable, high-speed converging operation by employing feedforward configuration. SOLUTION: The signal switching device is provided with: a phase shifting circuit 3a for changing the phase of a first input signal; a phase shifting circuit 3b for changing the phase of a second input signal; a phase difference detection circuit 1 for selecting two signals being the first input signal and a second output signal from the phase shifting circuit 3b or two signals being the second input signal and a first output signal from the phase shifting circuit 3a to detect phase difference between the selected two signals on the basis of a signal switching control signal; a phase control circuit 2 for binding passing phase amounts of the phase shifting circuits 3a and 3b on the basis of the signal switching control signal and a detection signal from the phase difference detection circuit to control the phases of the phase shifting circuits 3a and 3b; and an output switching circuit 4 for selecting and outputting the first output signal from the phase shifting circuit 3a or the second output signal from the phase shifting circuit 3b on the basis of the signal switching control signal.
