PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which is capable of determining whether the stored images may be eliminated or not after it is ascertained that a user has made reference to the stored images. SOLUTION: The image processing device includes a control means of controlling the stored images, and the control means includes a reference table where it is recorded whether each of the users has made reference to a specific image or not. Then, the control means is provided which eliminates a specific image or moves it to the other folder or a portable recording medium when it is found that all the users make reference to the specific image resting on the reference table. By this setup, after it is ascertained whether the users have made reference to the image or not, the propriety of eliminating the image can be determined. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
