PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleansing cosmetic that has excellent cleansing ability, good sense after use (moistening without stickiness) and is lower alcohol-free without anxiety of skin irritation. SOLUTION: This cleansing cosmetic is free from lower alcohol and comprises 0.1 to 30.0 wt.% of the following component (A) and 0.1 to 20 wt.% of (B) the component, namely one or two or more kinds of surfactants selected from anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, and ampholytic surfactants wherein the component (A) is an ether compound prepared by adding 4 to 25 moles of propylene oxide to one mole of diglycerol and has the IOB (inorganic and organic balance) value of less than 1.0 and the clouding point of higher than 20°C in 10% aqueous solution.
