The invention relates to a safety device for a conveyor provided in the form of a moveable safety stop, and to a conveying device comprising a safety device of this type that are used, in particular, in conveying systems for people, particularly placed along production lines or handling lines. The device comprises a part (2) perpendicular to the direction of conveyance (D) and connected to a sensor (4). The sensor (4), itself, is connected to a device (5) for stopping the conveyor (1). The invention is characterized in that the edge of the part (2), which is situated in the path of conveyance (11), comprises teeth (6, 7) oriented toward this path of conveyance (11) so that the conveyor (1) stops when a pressure is exerted in the direction of conveyance at any point on the edge of this part (2) situated in the path of conveyance (11). |
